Welcome to Griese Players and Youth Theatre's webpage! We are a children's drama group and a youth drama group based in Ballitore, Co. Kildare.
LATEST NEWS: Our annual Ballitore Festival took place October 26-30. We had workshops in DJing, dance and acting, to name but a few. There's was lots to see and do over the festival week including an official opening of our newly-renovated Meeting House. Thanks to all who attended!

A message from actor Gabriel Byrne to Griese Players on the occasion of the
Film Premiere of their First Short Film "All My Love", made with the assistance of KELT and produced by Eamon Little and the Flying Film Squad Galway.
"I saw my first films in the old picture-house in Ballitore. Little did I ever think the town would be producing its own in years to come. To make a film is one of the most difficult and rewarding endeavours, no matter what it’s length. I am mightily impressed that you’ve succeeded. I hope that this experience leads to some of you following a career in cinema as I did. Do what your heart tells you. Do what makes you excited and passionate. Ballitore has a thousand stories to be told. I send you all much love and sincere congratulations."
